August 3 – September 11, 2018
Women’s voices have always been around, but they haven’t always been seen, heard or taken seriously. These pieces have hidden messages that reveal their truest meaning under ultraviolet light, much like forensic detection, artwork authentication, and irradiation of foods. Darcy Falk has been creating artwork from textiles since the mid-1980s. She is also a writer, the creator of the Kevlar Kimono, and a resident of Flagstaff since 1986.
